Ingredients:
1 lb meat (I use either chicken chunks or stew beef, whatever we have in the freezer)
1 packet turkey gravy mix (or 1 jar)
2 cup water
2 TB sage
1 TB Rosemary
3 TB pepper
2 TB garlic powder
1 onion, thickly sliced
2-4 potatoes, chunked
1-2 carrots, chunked
Servings: 4
Procedure:
In a slow cooker, add the gravy mix and water and mix until dissolved. Add the spices. Put the meat in the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover with the vegetables. Cook on low for 2-4 hours or high for 4-6, checking occasionally and mixing together while trying to keep as much covered by the liquid/gravy. I normally add rice to the rice cooker when we get hungry and serve with the gravy, meat, and veggies on top.
