Spicy Hamburger Soup
Matt and I were hungry and there wasn't much in the fridge. So we made this up. We had this with Beer Bread!
2 frozen hamburger patties (with onion)
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can black beans, rinsed/drained
1 pkg beef flavored rice
3 chicken bouillon cubes
6 cup water
1 tb chili powder
1 tb chipotle chili powder
2 tb garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tb cumin
1 Brown and break up the patties at a low heat into meatballs.
2 Add everything but the rice, bring to boil.
3 Add rice, reduce to simmer, and cook until rice is tender.
Servings: 8
