So late last night (right around midnight, actually), I had a craving for something sweet. Of course, I also did not want to blow my diet. So I came up with this healthy dessert. Sorry for the poor photo, like I said, this was a midnight snack, so it was taken with my camera phone!

Ingredients:
1 Apple
1 tb splenda
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Procedure:
1 In an oven safe glass bowl, shred the entire apple.
2 Mix in the rest of the ingredients.
3 Bake at 500°, or until everything is bubbling and brown.
Hint: I used one of those hand-held graters that has a hand crank on it. I cut my apples into wedged then cut those in half so they would fit nicely inside the grater. I did not include skins.
